Our Church History

a history of chosen generation evangelistic ministry

Chosen Generation Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. vision is still speaking. Since 1998, God spoke to our leader to do a work. This is where God gave him the vision for Chosen Generation Evangelistic Ministries. The first worship service was held in a church that God blessed one of our Apostle’s co-laborers to give to the ministry. There was only 7 people in attendance at that time. Over the years the ministry grew rapidly. Chosen Generation Evangelistic Ministries was blessed to bond and connect creating true fellowship with various ministries locally and statewide all for the goal of building God’s Kingdom.

In the year 2000, the Women’s Ministry called Woman to Woman was birth and became the zeal to reach women all over the area through conferences and community events. Dying men were made new and whole through the Real Talk for Men Ministry that came forth from God to our leader in 2006. Throughout the years, the body of Christ has gone through transition, we have had many hard times and struggles. We grew some and lost some, but from 1998 to 2020, we are still preaching, teaching, reaching, evangelizing, healing, and saving souls for the Kingdom.

Ministries within CGEM include our Kingdom Kids ministry, Woman 2 Woman Women's Ministry and within this ministry the praise dance team called Women of Zion was birthed and have radically transformed the lives of others with the anointing that flows from their praise; and our Ministers & Deacons Ministry who have worked to make sure all the needs of the church are met.

CGEM is fundamental in the needs of the community. Our efforts include our annual Coat &Blanket Giveaway where God uses us to feed and clothe those that are in need, Thanksgiving food baskets, Back to School supply give away and our ministry of Mission 25:35 which assists the community in resources such as clothing, food and supplies.

Currently CGEM is holding services inside the Masonic Temple Building located on the corner of 15thand Dequeen in Port Arthur, TX. God gave our leader a vision and promise to build on our owned property located at 4501 Lewis Drive and that shall soon come to pass. With God’s help and our Faith in Him we shall see and walk into all God has for us. Matt 16:18 reads“...and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

“We as a body are pressing forward to what God has already promised and prepared for us. God gave us land at 4501 Lewis Drive that we did not have to pay for and He will give us every resource needed to complete this work. God’s hand is still on us and our heart is still with God. For that reason, we do celebrate, magnify and glorify God for this vision.

We are a Church doing a work for the Lord.
